Starptautiskais zinātniskais kolokvijs

23.-25. augusta Starptautiskajā kolokvijs ir veltīts Ķīmisko, bioloģisko, radioloģisko un kodoldraudu (CBRN) riskiem un to novēršanas pasākumiem

Šī gada 23.-25. augustā Latvijas Universitātes Dabaszinātņu akadēmiskajā centrā  norisināsies starptautiskas kolokvijs “Ķīmisko, bioloģisko, radioloģisko un kodoldraudu (CBRN) risku novērtēšana un pārvaldība”. Kolokviju organize Latvijas Universitātes Ķīmiskās fizikas institūts, Ģeodēzijas un Ģeoinformātikas institūts, Ķīmijas un Medicīnas fakultāte sadarbībā ar Latvijas Drošības un aizsardzības industriju federāciju DAIF Latvija un Čehijas Aizsardzības Universitātes Militārās veselības zinātņu fakultāti.

Visi interesenti ir aicināti uz pirmās dienas kolokvija sesiju 23 augustā, kas ietvers Latvijas un ārzemju vireslektoru ziņojumus.

Pirmās dienas sesiju atklās Latvijas Universitātes rektors, prof. Indriķis Mužnieks un Latvijas Drošības un aizsardzības industriju federācijas (DAIF Latvija) valdes priekšsēdētāja Elīna Egle-Ločmele. Latvijas Universitātes prorektors dabas, tehnoloģiju un medicīnas zinātņu jomā, prof. Valdis Segliņš iepazīstinās ar LU zinātnisko institūtu pieredzi pētniecībā.

Vieslektori no Čehijas Republikas Aizsardzības universitātes uzstāsies ar vairākām lekcijām:

• Plk. gšt. Prof. MVDr. Zuzana Šinkorova, Militāro veselības zinātņu fakultātes zinātnes prodekāne un Radiobioloģijas katedras vadītāja, iepazīstinās ar Aizsardzības universitātes zinātnisko darbību un galvenajām pētniecības aktivitātēm radiobioloģijas jomā.

• Mjr. Mgr. Lenka Andrejsova (Radiobioloģijas katedra), dalīsies pieredzē par radiācijas biodozimetrijas pētījumiem in vivo.

• Mjr. Doc. Ing. Jiří Janda (NBC Aizsardzības institūts, Ph.D.) uzstāsies ar divām lekcijām: pārskatu par radioloģiskās izkliedēšanas ierīcēm (RDD), "netīrajām bumbām" un praksi kodoldozimetrijā.

Kolokvija oficālā valoda ir angļu.

23-25 in August, the International Colloquium will address to Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) risks and their prevention measures

On August 23-24 of this year the University of Latvia, Academic Center of Natural Sciences will host an international colloquium "Assessment and management of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats (CBRN) risks". Colloquium is organized by the Institute of Chemical Physics Institute of Geodesy and Geoinformatics, Faculties of Chemistry and Medicine of the University of Latvia, in cooperation with the Federation of Latvian Security and Defense Industries (FSDI Latvia) and the Faculty of Military Health Sciences of the Defense University of Czech Republic.

All the interests are welcomed to attend the first days session on  the 23^rd of August that wil reports by Latvian and foreign keynote speakers.

The session of the first day will be opened by the rector of the University of Latvia, Prof. Indriķis Mužnieks and Elīna Egle-Ločmele, chairman of the board of the Federation of Latvian Security and Defense Industries (DAIF Latvija). The vice-rector of the University of Latvia in the field of natural, technological, and medical sciences, Prof. Valdis Segliņš will report of the research experience of the LU scientific institutes.

Guest lecturers from the Defense University of the Czech Republic will present several lectures:

• Plk. gšt. Prof. MVDr. Zuzana Šinkorová, (the Vice-Dean for Science and the Head of the Department of of Radiobiology of the Faculty of Military Health Sciences)  will  introduce about the  research activities of the University of Defence and the main research activities in the field of  radiobiology.
• Mjr. Mgr. Lenka Andrejsová, (Department of Radiobiology) will share experience on in vivo  studies  of radiation biodosimetry.
• Mjr. Doc. Ing. Jiří Janda (NBC Defence Institute, Ph.D. will present two  lectures: an overview of Radiological Dispersal Devices (RDD), “dirty bombs”, and  practice in nuclear dosimetry.

The official language of the colloquium is English.

The event of the first day of the colloquium takes place ofline  at the Academic Center of Natural Sciences of the University of Latvia in Riga, Jelgavas street 1 and online in zoom platform.
